The afternoon begins at Bicheno Beer Co’s new brewery. See behind the scenes, hear more about the making of their Barrel Aged Imperial Stout and of course and taste their award-winning beers (including their sold-out Barrel Aged Imperial Stout) alongside nibbles by chef Andrew Gerstkamp.  


STOP 2: WAUBS HARBOUR

Wander down the road and join us at our Tasting Room at Waubs Harbour for whisky by the ocean and the official launch (and first taste!) of our new Limited Release Stout Cask whisky, accompanied by smoked meats & nibbles by chef Andrew Gerstkamp.


MORE ON THE EVENT:

Joining us for the afternoon will be Tom and Phil from Bicheno Beer Co., two local Bicheno legends and craftsmen who are making incredible quality, unique craft beer just down the road from our distillery. We're thrilled to be partnering with them on this new Limited Release.

Guests will have the opportunity to secure a bottle of our Limited Release Stout Cask whisky at the event before their official release to the public a few days later.

THE LIMITED RELEASE WHISKY:

Our new Limited Release Stout Cask Edition Two whisky, of only 618 bottles, is the greatly anticipated sequel of our highly popular Stout Cask edition one release.  This whisky was matured in a very special cask, previously home to Bicheno Beer Co.'s Barrel Aged Imperial Stout and before that, home to our very own whisky.

Bicheno Beer Co.'s Barrel Aged Imperial Stout was awarded a Gold medal at the 2024 Independent Beer Awards in Brisbane and sold out nearly immediately but we've managed to get our hands on some of the last cans and our guests will have the first (and one of the only) chance to taste the whisky and the stout side by side.. The ultimate boilermaker!
